BUG - Parameter "--version" not working
-
In Windows 10 Pro I opened a command shell as Administrator.
Then I switched to the VulnDetect folder and executed VulnDetect with the parameter --version:C:\Program Files (x86)\SecTeer VulnDetect>secteer.exe --versionHere nothing is displayed!
In the help I can read:
-V, --version Print program version and exit.So I tried the parameter -V but here the help is displayed.
When I execute VulnDetect with the parameter --status then I get a result:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SecTeer VulnDetect>secteer.exe --status [2019-03-09 14:53:18.112+0060] SecTeer Agent v1.0.1.0 starting in status mode [2019-03-09 14:53:18.113+0060] Service status => Running [2019-03-09 14:53:18.113+0060] SecTeer Agent exiting -
You are right. It is a known non-feature.
It will be fixed eventually, but there is no ETA on that.

So I should not yet use it...
I leave this topic opened until the issue is fixed...
