Unfortunately PNG has <strong>no transparent colour</strong>, so I extracted the icon from the EXE with an icon editor.<br />
In the icon file there are <strong>multiple sizes stored</strong> (so the icon scales).</p>

I believe we will end up writing both the vendor name and the product name in the UI. Thus we will keep product names clean of vendor names, then we can put them together when appropriate, else we would end up with Mozilla Mozilla Thunderbird vs. Mozilla Firefox, if we tried to display it together.</p>
